Privacy Policy

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of processing within CreatorInsights.ai — under the GDPR (EU) and, where applicable, the Swiss FADP.

1. Controller

2. What data we process

a) Free peer-group / alert request & forms: name, YouTube channel (URL), email address, optionally phone number, and your selection (peer-group analysis, outlier / hot-topic alerts, channel report). You provide this yourself in order to receive the requested free analysis and any notifications.

b) Newsletter/updates: email address via a double opt-in — after signup we send a confirmation email; your subscription only becomes active once you click the confirmation link. We store the signup and confirmation timestamps as proof.

c) Appointment booking: name, email and the chosen slot, in order to organize the call.

d) Server log files: technically necessary data on access (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser/OS) for delivery, security and abuse prevention.

e) Public YouTube data: for the analyses we process publicly available YouTube channel and video data within the scope of the YouTube Terms of Service — this is public content, not your private user data.

3. Purposes & legal bases

Handling your request and providing the requested (free and paid) services — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract / pre-contractual measures). Newsletter/alerts — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, revocable at any time). Operation, security and improvement of the website — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

4. Processors & recipients

For sending email (confirmations, newsletter, appointment mails) we use Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) on the basis of a data-processing agreement and appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses). 5. Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies / local storage for operation (e.g. session, settings). [If analytics/marketing cookies are used: add them here + a consent banner is required.]

6. Retention

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or statutory retention periods. Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Unconfirmed double opt-in signups are deleted after the confirmation window expires.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent you have given (e.g. newsletter) at any time with effect for the future — e.g. via the unsubscribe link or by email to arne@creatorinsights.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
